Bischofsgasse

History

This alley was originally part of the Schwarzes Meer. Only branched off from the same in 1884 under the name Bischofsgasse. The name probably comes from the fact that it led to the Bischofsberg. Between 1920 and 1937 renamed Grenadiergasse after the barracks of the former 5th Grenadier Regiment located here.
