Breite Gasse
Petershagener Erbbuche
History
Initially this street was called Petershagener Erbbuche (loosely translated "the inherited oak of Petershagen"). In 1761, it started being referred to as Breite Gasse (Broad Alley), and later as Küstergasse ("Sexton (church official) Street").
Today's name, Ulica Kaznodziejska, translated to "Preacher's Street."
Please note, this is different than Breitgasse.
